Victorian era gutta percha. 14 karat yellow and carnelian locket. The oval hinged locket is hand carved out of gutta percha, and has a Bacchus or Dionysus cameo on the front. Inside there are leaf, vine, flower and heart carvings. The locket is finished with a new 14 karat yellow gold bail that is bezel set with a round cabochon carnelian and a hidden slide.
